Call for Submissions - Deadline 14 July 2015.
The Council of Australasian Tribunals Inc would welcome your comments on the Discussion Paper. Your submission will assist us to understand different views and experiences of the tribunal appointments and reappointments process and to develop our Best Practice Guide.
The Discussion Paper has been prepared for COAT by Professor Pamela O'Connor under the direction of a high level project steering committee. The membership of the steering committee is at page (i) of the enclosed document. The Discussion Paper sets out a number of questions that COAT is seeking feedback on. They are listed individually in text boxes in Chapters 2 to 6 where relevant to the discussion, and collectively in Appendix B.
You may wish to answer some or all of them, or to offer other comments on the issues discussed. If you make a submission, it would assist us if you identify the number of each question you are answering.
If you make a submission please indicate whether you wish it to be public, anonymous or confidential.
